At the Buffalo Barn Board, finding the beauty in an old, dusty piece of wood is our specialty. Much of the material we encounter has withstood over 100 years of brutal Western New York weather, a testament to its strength and integrity.
After collecting the lumber in our 11,000 square foot facility, we remove all metal (yes, we save that too), and then clean, grade and sort according to species and final use. Each lot of lumber carries the story of its origin, so that you will have unique knowledge of where your piece came from, and what it had been in a previous life.
Much of the lumber in our inventory was growing before the Civil War, and some of our species no longer grow naturally in the U.S. If we can add another 100 years to its life, then we are doing our job.
The Buffalo Barn Board mills the lumber to your specifications, whether it’s flooring, paneling or rough-cut lumber for your own project.
We invite you to call for a list of current inventory, and look forward to hearing from you.
